Air Conditioning and Heating System Services in Fort Worth

The customer called because the home was not cooling. We found the outdoor fan was not running due to a failed capacitor, which was reading zero on all terminals. We also found the compressor had high locked rotor (LRA) startup amps. We replaced the capacitor and recommended installing a soft start kit to reduce startup amps and help prevent future compressor failure. The system is now operating and cooling properly.

Customer's drain pan had cracked and needed to be replaced. We installed a new drain pan, cleaned both the indoor evaporator coil and the outdoor condenser coil, and tested the system. Everything is now operating properly and draining as it should.

We were called out to the business because the system was not draining properly. We found the drain line was missing a P-trap, so we installed one to ensure proper drainage. The system is now operating and draining as it should.

We corrected the wiring, tested the system, and confirmed that everything is operating properly and cooling as it should.

Our technician performed a complete system inspection and maintenance, and all HVAC equipment was found to be operating properly. At this time, we believe the issue is related to an electrical problem outside of the HVAC system and recommend having the electrical components further evaluated.
