Customer called and reported that their home was not cooling. Upon inspection, we found a failed capacitor reading zero, a leaking evaporator coil, and the compressor over-amping on LRA. We replaced the capacitor and evaporator coil and installed a soft start to help reduce the compressor’s amp draw at startup. Once repairs were completed, we thoroughly checked the system. Everything is now up and running properly and cooling as it should.
