• Comment: Levi came out after I purchased a Groupon for a yearly maintenance and tune up. I also let him know that in the previous few days the AC had been turning off in the middle of the night.
  
  He checked everything out and let me know the system was 2 lbs low on refrigerant. He indicated there was a small leak in the evaporator coil, but as the unit is already 9 years old he didn’t feel it would be cost effective to repair it. He felt that topping off with refrigerant every year we could probably get another few years out of the system before completely replacing. I appreciate his honesty about it not being worth the money spent to repair, when typically AC units only last 12-14 years anyway. Also, he gave a very fair price on the refrigerant.
  
  That night the AC unit still turned itself off. I called back and he returned free of charge the next day to discover that the thermostat is faulty and needs replacing. He offered an estimate on the thermostat, but was not put off by me voicing that I would like to install a smart thermostat instead.
